Did you know there are over 130 Business Enterprise Centres in key locations across Australia?
The BEC Network Works Business Enterprise Centres are community-based, not-for-profit business assistance organisations that are owned and supported by locally managed incorporations. They are designed to facilitate the creation, retention and development of sustainable business enterprises and to foster local economic development.
Each BEC has access to the talents and resources of all BECs plus federal, state, and local governments providing quality business assistance, often for free (there are some nominal charges for workbooks, software and services).
BECs through their successful public/private partnerships with governments, private enterprise and local communities across Australia provide practical confidential business facilitation services. Additionally these partnerships give BEC clients access to a wealth of professional services and government programs.

How to benefit from your BEC
Finding out how you can benefit from your local BEC is as simple as giving them a call or walking through the door to set up an appointment. See www.beca.org.au for the national network contact details.
There is no other organisation in Australia that can draw upon the combined resources of the BEC network. With a focus on community and economic development, sponsorship from private organisations and resources provided by federal, state and local governments, BECs are well equipped to support the needs of small and micro businesses throughout the various stages of their development.
The strength of the BEC network is that it provides free, independent, confidential and competent business counselling and other practical assistance to foster viable local businesses - and thereby boost sustainable economic development through the business sector.
