Given her experience living and working in Vietnam, our presenter Marea Fatseas will use Vietnam as a case study in exploring these issues.
About our Presenter:
Marea is Managing Director of Ideas Connect Pty Ltd, a company she founded in 2006. She has extensive experience in research policy and funding programs, grant application processes, international education and market research and marketing.
She has lived and worked in Vietnam for over six years in the past two decades.
As a senior official in the Australian Embassy in Vietnam in the 1990s, she managed a comprehensive program of cooperative activities with Vietnamese Government ministries. She also established an information and advisory service for Australian education and training providers seeking to enter the Vietnamese market, and promoted Australian capabilities in that market.
More recently, she has undertaken consultancy work in Vietnam, as well as a range of consultancies for State/Territory Governments, universities, research organisations and companies in Australia.
