A variety of grants, funding programs and industry assistance are available from Commonwealth, State and Territory governments.  These are designed to assist micro, small and medium enterprises.

Funding is available to meet a range of business needs, including expanding a business, research and development, innovation and exporting. Examples of programs to assist business growth include:

• The High Growth Business Program: experienced Business Development Managers from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development work closely with clients to identify areas of their business that could be strengthened or modified .
  
  
• The Small Business Expansion Program: the NSW Department of State and Regional Development assists smaller businesses to innovate and grow by subsidising the cost of employing private sector consultants. .
  
  
• AusIndustry delivers a range of business and industry assistance programs which achieve the Federal Government's policy objective of fostering investment and supporting businesses to become more innovative and internationally competitive. .
