Workshop Aim
This 3 hour workshop aims to provide some basic financial literacy for participants to discuss business and financial issues with a partner, bank, bookkeeper or an accountant.
The workshops looks at the main financial indicators to compare and review small business financial performance.
Outcomes
The facilitator will discuss these important topics:
• Understand the use of Profit and Loss Statements
• Why it is important to compare industry benchmarks;
• Debtors and creditors, and chasing money
• The difference between Gross Profit and Net Profit
• Identify sources of help including Website addresses.
A sample financial benchmark and cashbook software will be presented to highlight the use of current technology to assist your small business management.
